Hello Friends! I am back! Did you miss me? I missed you all, I missed writing, but in all honesty, I loved my break. It was wonderful. I have a new pattern to be released soon, it has been tested and everything (Thanks Ashleigh!) I am hoping to release it next week. It is going to be great!
I spent a lot of this break with my girls, filling up their little love cups. My 3-year-old and I did a 500-piece puzzle together – it took 4 days, and I loved every moment of it. I also spent time thinking about where we are going for the summer season. The next 12 weeks are going to be busy around here. The garden will be taking off and I will be putting more time into crochet designing. This means that I’ll be shifting to one post a week on Wednesdays, rather than twice a week. But I am hoping to put out higher quality posts. I feel like I was really mailing it in the last couple weeks before my break and I want to give you all my best. I will be covering a lot of the same things, our lives here on the homestead, crochet patterns, and occasional how-to’s and motivational stuff because I like writing that sort of thing.
Another fun thing I did in the break was make a new Instagram account. This one will be strictly for my crochet patterns and such. As I was researching, I found that the top crochet accounts only share crochet things. I figured I would get on board and make a more focused account that is just about my patterns and projects.
You can follow my crochet Instagram here
My original Instagram will focus on gardening, homesteading, and all the homemaking goodness.
It’s a fun challenge having so many interests and hobbies that I love to share. Figuring out the right way to get it all out there is a blast.
Oh! One more thing I’ll be sharing this summer are a few recipes! I loved sharing my Elderlion Syrup a few weeks ago. This summer I am putting together a recipe for Honeysuckle Jelly and a couple baking recipes because I like to do everything. All of it. All the time. I can’t wait to get started. See you next Wednesday!
